Ethos worked in collaboration with WSP to provide a Leadership transformation project for Emirates Group Aluminium (EGA) as part of their journey to Zero Harm. A part of the scope Ethos carried out an HSE Climate Survey.
The prevailing Health & Safety Culture within an organisation has a major influence on the Health & Safety-related behaviour of people at work. Achieving a mature HSE Culture requires the organisation to identify the barriers preventing employees and leaders from performing at their best.
The anonymous Health & Safety Climate Survey was administered electronically and
should take each employee less than 15 minutes to complete. The Assessment collected 3,706 responses from people throughout all levels of
the organisation.
The Health & Safety Culture Assessment report was used to facilitate strategic focus groups to develop and improve the safety culture maturity level within the organisation. This will be used to develop a Zero
Harm strategy that will align with EGA’s values, Health and Safety Policy and
Framework that will predominantly be driven by EGA Leadership.
